Life Air Rescue Aircraft

Life Air Rescue's primary aircraft is the EC-135 manufactured by American Eurocopter.  This aircraft has safety features such as an enclosed tailrotor, crash attenuated seats, and a start up/shut down times of less that a minute which eliminates the need for hot loads/unloads.  The aircraft cruises at approximately 150-160 mph.   The EC-135 is capable of transporting two patients and two health care providers.

Flights are conducted by and operational control over the Life Air Rescue aircraft is exercised solely by Metro Aviation, Inc. Shreveport, Louisiana
